Until April 2004 there is a special offer from Pollards Digital through Acrobat Services. This shows the savings that are possible if PDF files can be created by print customers without causing any problems in pre-press. Other offers may follow later. |

The word ‘sneakernet’ is a term of abuse used by network managers to describe users who avoid control by moving files between computers using discs or other media. The Exeter Sneakernet can demonstrate how Acrobat can link any desktop with litho , even without using the internet. A disc can be created ( Mac only at present) at the Phoenix Arts Centre, where the full Acrobat product is available, and taken on foot to digital output. The Exeter Sneakernet is adapting to the new bandwidth in 'wi-fi Exeter' and supports animation during Animated Exeter. |
