PDF to download You need Acrobat to read the PDF files. See below for other sources. (NEW FEB 2006 Cooperatives UK now have many PDF files on their site. Top Downloads Surprisingly, analysis of the last 90 days shows that a couple of PDFs fairly well hidden away on the site have been downloaded most often. It seems somebody has put a direct link to a directory of US co-ops from '96 (204 downloads) and some documentation for the Worker Co-op Database produced in '98 (199 downloads). Both documents are way out of date but there seems to be some interest in this type of publication.
Encouraged by this, an option to look at databases again has been added to the Co-operative Action proposal Other than that two PDFs continue to be popular- New Mutualism by Peter Kellner
This is based on a text version. Later pamphlets now in PDF from the official site Co-op structures and cultures by Johnston Birchall
Still surprising is 18 downloads for arieswho.pdf
More pdfs on "previously" There are many PDF files at the Co-op Group site http://www.co-op.co.uk Most sections have either a PDF version or additional content for download. Also the Archive at the Co-op College has republished original books with some scans of the artwork. http://archive.co-op.ac.uk Most pages are text to keep down the size of the files. If you like the PDF files you can send money to the Co-op College to encourage them to do some more scanning. At this time this seems the best site for creating new PDF material as so much hard copy already exists. If this works at all it could establish a new method to finance publishing. PDF is a very cheap way to publish, but there are some costs.
