Amazon.co.uk seems to have a stock that compares well with Amazon.com. Currently some corporate products such as Approval and cluster editions of Capture are shown as in stock for the UK. Maybe in the UK Amazon is used by organisations as well as by individuals.

Acrobat 6

The Standard version allows for creation of PDF files and the collaboration tools through comments and review. The full Professional version includes pre-press tools to make sure your PDF can be used for litho printing.

On the Mac, Acrobat 6 is only available for OS X. On Windows you also need XP for the Professional version. It may be time to think about this. For graphics, Acrobat 6 is on a new level.

Capture

Once you get used to producing PDF, you may want to shift old hard copy into the same process. Capture takes a scan and creates PDF. There is a download for Acrobat 5 from Adobe that copes with small quantities.

Capture is charged per page so you may need extra pages eventually. If you don't have Windows NT or later, you can't use version 3.

Approval

This is 100 seats for a version of Acrobat that allows forms to be signed and saved. It has more function than the Reader but not as much as the full product. You may need it for solutioins based on online forms. For larger projects there is a server product that allows similar functions for the Reader when filling in specific PDF forms online.

Photoshop Album

Photoshop Elements

'Unless you are preparing photos for offset printing or must do a very high volume of photo-editing, there is little that you can't do in Photoshop Elements' Ken Milburn and Gene Hirsch in the Osborne 'Complete Reference'. So in other words it could take a while till you wanted to learn something more expensive.
